Our Core Marketing Campaign is one of the cornerstones in the success of our clients. We carefully promote their sites to the search engines and directories, by hand and inexpensively to help them with their online presence.

For many years we did the same thing many of the SEOs (Search Engine Optimizers) did. We examined our clients web pages, made tweaks to the 'meta tags' and changes to the visible text. Then we bombarded every search engine we could find with Look at me! Look at me! Look at me!.

The belief was that one of the powerful parts of the search engine formula was how many other sites linked to yours. So the more the better. Unfortunately, a lot of people started doing it - and many were not as nice about it as they should have been. As a result the major search engines changed their formulas - and even began regularly removing aggressive promoters from their results.

We saw this coming, modified our approach, and began to research a better way. While it is always an ongoing process, we made a dramatic shift in our process in the spring of 2008. The new system worked very well. It worked so well in fact that for a while we had to back off a little for some of our clients.

Our new methods are not automated. They follow the same by hand approach we follow with all our work, so we are confident we will be able to keep up with emerging changes. As always, the best online marketing is word of mouth and direct promotion (no that does not mean email/spam) but we help our clients with the foundation to build on.
